The refreshed corporate identity builds upon the brand’s heritage, with a developed colour palette that provides standout and a logo, typography and visual language that balances a forward-looking, contemporary aesthetic with stability, professionalism and reassurance befitting of the sector in which the business operates.

Central to the visual expression of the new website was the need to celebrate Peel Hunt’s people-first culture, one of its primary differentiators and challenges to the long-held industry perceptions of the financial services sector. Both commissioned photography and videography help to support and communicate the importance placed on shared values, a supportive ‘family’ ethos, and a genuine commitment to do the right thing for the business, each other, and Peel Hunt’s clients and partners.

As a newly quoted PLC, the website not only needed to communicate Peel Hunt’s strong investment proposition but also serve the needs of multiple stakeholders. With a long-standing focus on the importance of ESG within the business, the new site raises the profile of this, both within a new responsibility section on the site but also through an integrated approach to content across the site as whole. 

The introduction of a harder-working careers section is integral to conveying Peel Hunt’s differentiating culture. The use of video content provides a human and authentic aspect around the approach to storytelling and site-wide UX design improvements, refreshed creation and better cross-site content syndication have enabled us to deliver a new website that supports Peel Hunt’s growth ambitions as a technological innovator and category leader.

With a very short lead time for the project – the team at SampsonMay were meticulous with the planning and very quickly embraced the Peel Hunt ethos. We worked together as a team to create something that we are very proud of.
