Creating better places for people to live, work and travel

Project: Graduate Recruitment Campaign
Services: Design, Copywriting, Film, Production

In brief

As one of the largest and most diverse companies working for the public and regulated sectors in the UK, Amey came to us to help achieve their ambitious growth target of increasing their workforce by some 45% by 2018.

We were commissioned to help develop a range of graduate recruitment materials comprising advertising, literature, exhibition stands/communications and moving image to address the team’s immediate need to create a compelling campaign for the upcoming graduate recruitment ‘season’.

Focused around the goal of creating better places for people to live, work and travel, Amey provide an unrivalled breadth of services across more than 320 contracts from consulting, social housing and healthcare to utility, facilities management, defence and more.

Delivering these contracts are in excess of 21,000 employees working across the UK, all of whom share a genuine passion to play an integral part in helping to improve our daily lives.

Following an initial phase of employee research, it became apparent how this commitment to make a difference was a common thread that ran through all employees, regardless of role, sector or experience. Leveraging this passion became the basis of our approach behind the development of the campaign theme ‘Turn your passion into your career’.

The campaign was built around recent graduates sharing their stories around the motivations for joining Amey whilst also communicating the benefits and career development opportunities within the Group.

Based on the development of a visual concept and messaging platform, we created a content strategy to deliver copy and scripts for video profiles, print and banner advertising in addition to the design and production of supporting collateral for careers fairs and events.

Working closely with the Amey communications team, we worked across all phases of the project from initial research, planning and creative development to film, photography, print management and fulfilment.
