In brief

We have worked closely with the Advent team for over six years, becoming trusted brand guardians for this innovative and entrepreneurial specialist insurance underwriting group operating in the Lloyd’s market.

Over this time we have worked with the Group as an AIM quoted PLC and since their acquisition by Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited and subsequent de-listing. Our role has been to provide consultancy, continuity and specialist communication expertise to manage all facets of the brand from strategy to implementation across both print and digital channels.

We first started working with the Advent team to produce their PLC and operating Syndicate Annual Report and Accounts. This successful working relationship led to a brand review and redesign of the Group's website and primary marketing literature.

In doing so, we have become their trusted brand advisors, bringing not only consultancy, design and project management expertise, but also the full range of associated support services from copywriting, photography and illustration through to print, digital development and office branding.

One of our recent projects has seen the redevelopment of the Group's website to deliver a new mobile optimised site. Built in PHP on the Open Source Drupal framework, the site functionality includes an Underwriter availability calendar, enabling increased accessibility to Advent’s Underwriters at Lloyd’s – a service that has been well received by clients and brokers and one that supports Advent’s high standards of excellence in customer service and their overarching value proposition.

As brand guardians, the scale of our work is broad; not only do we work across larger communication pieces but we also provide support for day-to-day requirements alongside the ongoing management and development of the identity guidelines.

Our work with Advent demonstrates a key part of the way we manage client relationships – adopting a non-silo based approach to provide multi-disciplinary services to companies of all shapes and sizes operating across different sectors and markets.
