Following the phenomenal success of London as host city to the Olympic and Paralympic Games, this edition of Spirit celebrates some of the highlights and journeys of Rio Tinto Heroes attending the event.

Rio Tinto exclusively provided the metal to produce the 4,700 gold, silver and bronze medals at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games so not surprisingly they feature a few times within the magazine!

The continued use of illustration and infographics within the magazine is gaining strong internal recognition as an engagement piece and continues to provide visually interesting and thought provoking ways of explaining sometimes complex processes and industry stories.
