We were asked by Rolls-Royce to develop a look and feel for their global Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) materials to create a flexible visual language that could be applied across relevant HS&E communications.

Given the need to communicate to some 40,000 employees in over 50 countries and in 18 languages, we adopted a simple iconographic approach that could be used to communicate direct and important messages simply and clearly.



Using an illustrative style can also allow us to create more informative instructional ‘warning’ posters and communications whilst still keeping the overarching look and feel of the HS&E visual language.
