We currently have capacity for a graduate designer to undertake an internship at SampsonMay. We can offer a minimum four week placement with the potential to extend this further.
We view our internship placements as a collaborative process – we are not looking for cheap labour and consequently we do pay interns during this time but nor can we guarantee a job. It is an opportunity for graduates to gain experience in a working studio whilst we can benefit from an additional pair of hands and help build some experience on their CV.
However, should you prove yourself to be brilliant, great to work with and generally invaluable then you may well create your own full-time position!
All we would ask is that prior to getting in touch you have a look at the portfolio section of our site to see the type of work we do and the clients we work with. We are motivated by a desire to produce intelligent and effective communications in both print and digital…the latter medium being an ever growing area. So, if you’re a packaging designer or looking to dive into the world of advertising then we’re not for you but a review of our portfolio should help to clarify this.
Please email us your CV with a PDF (or link) to examples of your work and we’ll be in touch.
